Seigfreid Bingham is pleased to welcome Josie Carey and Luke Severt to the firm as associate attorneys.

Josie joins the firm’s Corporate Law practice group, where she advises clients on general corporate matters, with a particular focus on health care, real estate, equipment dealer, and franchise industries. She takes a practical, collaborative approach to understanding clients’ needs and providing tailored guidance.

Josie earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law, where she served as an Articles Editor for the UMKC Law Review and as a teaching assistant for a legal writing course. She earned her undergraduate degree in English from Kansas State University.

Luke joins the firm’s Litigation practice group, where he represents clients in general business, construction, and employment matters, including business litigation, construction litigation, and employment defense litigation. He works with clients to understand the challenges they face and develop practical strategies aligned with their goals.

Luke earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri School of Law, where he served as a member of the Missouri Law Review. He earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science, magna cum laude, from the University of Missouri.
