Josie Carey is an associate in Seigfreid Bingham’s Corporate Law practice group. Her practice covers general corporate matters, with a particular focus on serving clients in health care, real estate, equipment dealer, and franchise industries.

Josie approaches her work with diligence, strong communication, and a practical problem-solving mindset. She takes the time to understand each client’s circumstances and works collaboratively with clients and colleagues to provide thorough, tailored guidance.

Drawn to the variety and continual learning that comes with practicing law, Josie enjoys examining complex issues from different perspectives and developing creative solutions that align with her clients’ needs.

While attending the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law, Josie served as an Article’s Editor for the UMKC Law Review and as a teaching assistant for a legal writing course. She earned her undergraduate degree in English from Kansas State University.

Outside the office, Josie enjoys crafting, painting, drawing, thrifting, tennis, and yoga, as well as spending time with friends and family.
