Seigfreid Bingham was pleased to once again sponsor the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association’s (MIAA) Football Media Day. This event was for the MIAA players and coaches to interact with the media, officially commencing the 2024 football season.

Attorneys Greg Whiston and Curry Sexton attended the event, which took place at the Kauffman Foundation Conference Center in Kansas City, Missouri.

Greg serves as lead trial counsel for the MIAA and numerous other National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) conferences with nationwide class action litigation, often involving head trauma in college football. He also works on sports matters involving insurance and risk management.

Curry works with sports clients in a variety of areas, including general guidance, name, image, and likeness (NIL), class action concussion litigation, and risk management initiatives. Greg and Curry also co-lead the firm’s “Empower U” service, which navigates clients through NIL regulations for student-athletes.
