Seigfreid Bingham has been involved in the community in numerous ways since the start of the new year (2023). We are pleased to share the following firm-supported and attorney-led activities, among others:

  • Ambassadors Rotary Club – Attorney Steve Kyle is an active member of this non-profit organization that supports the community through various volunteer initiatives.
  • Association for Women Lawyers of Greater Kansas City (AWL-KC) Continuing Legal Education (CLE) – Attorney Shannon Cohorst Johnson presented a CLE titled, “The Latest in Employment Law: Including Wins for Mothers.” Shannon also presented two separate seminars on employment law to clients.
  • Blue River Bicycle Club – Attorney Tim Fisher is involved in this group, which is firm-supported through a 2023 sponsorship.
  • Clay County Fair – The firm is a sponsor of this upcoming event in Smithville, Missouri.
  • Donnelly College Board of Directors – Attorney Bob Bartunek serves in this leadership role for 2022-2023, having been a member since 2005.
  • Greater Kansas City Community Foundation (GKCCF) Zoom Conference – Attorney Cindy McClannahan set up a Zoom networking event focused on estate planning and charitable giving.
  • Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association/Foundation (KCMBA/KCMBF) Events/Meetings – Attorney Brenda Hamilton attended the KCMBA “Board Forward” event, Board of Directors monthly meetings, Audit Committee meetings, Member happy hours, and the KCMBF 29th Annual LEAP Mardi Gras Luncheon.
  • Law Firm Alliance (LFA) Spring 2023 Meeting – Attorneys Steve Kyle and Shannon Cohorst Johnson attended the LFA spring conference, a business development and marketing event that provided the opportunity to learn and network with national and global contacts in the legal field.
  • “Marketing by the Rules” – Part of John Deere User Group (JDUG) Conference in Las Vegas – Attorney John Fuchs attended this event.
  • The Lawyers Association of Kansas City – Young Lawyers Section (LAKC-YLS) – Members of the firm supported the organization’s pet-supply drive campaign (benefitting The Rescue Project) through donations and attendance at its charitable event at Bar K in Kansas City, Missouri. Attorney Cody Weyhofen is the Public Service Officer for LAKC-YLS and led the internal efforts related to this campaign.
  • Various volunteer work – Attorney Brenda Hamilton volunteered at Harvesters, Kansas City Parks and Recreation, and the Trolley Run (benefitting the Children’s Center for the Visually Impaired).
