Seigfreid Bingham attorneys Mark Opara and Cody Weyhofen published an article in Ingram’s magazine, summarizing COVID-19 vaccine mandates (implemented in 2021 and revised in 2022) and possible legal challenges for employers in 2023.

Titled “One Year Later: Revisiting COVID-19 Vaccine Mandates,” Mark and Cody discuss the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s emergency temporary standard (ETS), the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) interim final rule, federal contractor mandate, state measures, and what the future might hold.

“Some rules have been tossed around by courts; some withdrawn by agencies,” Mark and Cody explain in the article. “That has created potential hurdles for employers.”
