Ryan L. White
Of Counsel
Ryan L. White is a seasoned attorney with more than 15 years of experience guiding clients through complex legal, business, and personal transitions. His practice is defined by a practical, solutions-oriented approach in tax planning, structuring business arrangements, or advising on long-term planning and legacy building. Ryan is committed to delivering not only sound legal counsel but also clarity and confidence during moments that often carry significant financial and personal impact. When appropriate, he also leverages a trusted network of professionals to ensure clients receive the precise expertise their situations demand.
Ryan’s practice also places a strong emphasis on estate planning and legacy preservation, helping clients thoughtfully prepare for the future while protecting what matters most. He advises individuals, families, and business owners to create comprehensive estate plans, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, and advance healthcare directives. His approach is both practical and deeply personal in ensuring that assets are protected, tax implications are carefully considered, and wealth is transferred efficiently in accordance with each client’s intentions. Ryan also assists business owners with succession planning, integrating estate strategies into businesses’ governing documents to promote continuity and stability across generations.
With substantial experience in both the courtroom and the boardroom, Ryan offers a rare combination of litigation insight and transactional acumen. His litigation background sharpens his ability to anticipate risks, craft persuasive arguments, and protect client interests, while his business acumen allows him to structure transactions and strategies that align with long-term objectives. Clients benefit from his ability to see both the immediate legal landscape and the broader strategic horizon. His background in tax law further enhances his ability to identify hidden pitfalls and opportunities, ensuring that strategies are not only legally sound but also economically advantageous. Clients benefit from advice that is comprehensive, forward-looking, and grounded in real-world outcomes - not just theory.
Ryan’s professional leadership and community involvement further distinguish his practice. Having served as President of the Johnson County Bar Foundation and as a Board of Trustees Member for several legal, charitable, and professional organizations in the Kansas City area, he has developed strong relationships within the legal and business communities. These connections often prove invaluable in facilitating productive dialogue with opposing counsel, advancing negotiations, and, when necessary, connecting clients with highly qualified specialists.
In his free time, Ryan enjoys playing sports with his nephews, singing in a competitive karaoke league, playing in charity golf tournaments, and camping at the lake. He is originally from St. Louis, Missouri, but his family moved to several small towns across Missouri before settling in Kansas City in 2001.
Dependable, articulate, and results-driven, Ryan is well-established in both litigation and transactional practice areas. To discuss potential representation regarding your legal needs, contact Ryan at the law firm of Seigfreid Bingham.
