Seigfreid Bingham attorney Katie Conklin recently gave a presentation during the “Labor and Employment Law Update” session at the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association (KCMBA) Continuing Legal Education (CLE) program.

Katie collaborated with other members of the KCMBA Labor and Employment Law Committee to develop the session, which featured multiple presentations concerning many different areas of employment law.

Specifically, Katie covered the Supreme Court’s recent decision in Groff v. DeJoy and its heightening standard for religious accommodations, the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA), and the Providing Urgent Maternal Protections Act (PUMP Act).
