With over 16 years of experience in the legal industry, René Calabrese provides services in real estate, including commercial real estate transactions, 1031 exchanges, title and survey review, general business, and corporate matters. She also has experience working in the environmental industry, and her broad background allows her to understand her clients’ matters from many different angles to find workable solutions for them.

In addition to ten years as an in-house counsel, including as a General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for a large regional title agent located in seven states, handling everything from underwriting, claims, general legal, insurance, and corporate governance, René has also worked as the in-house counsel for the Missouri Housing Development Commission (a quasi-governmental entity) and as an environmental consultant for two reputable firms.

René is passionate about continuous learning, problem-solving, helping people, finding innovative and workable solutions, and seeing real results. She focuses on being extremely responsive and makes a point to educate her clients in order for them to make informed decisions about their business dealings in a timely manner.

Being an attorney is a natural fit for René, and her philosophy is one where operating as a good teacher and having a high level of dedication in helping clients is most valuable. Nothing is more satisfying for René than seeing a difficult transaction close and become operational or when she has helped a client learn more about their industry so they can continue to grow and thrive.
