Emily Crane joined Seigfreid Bingham’s Corporate Law practice group in 2019. Her unique and diverse practice encompasses everything from commercial real estate to health care compliance. Emily believes that the practice of law, at its core, is a service profession and tries to implement that in her work. Having grown up in a family of entrepreneurs, Emily has a practical business background and a unique perspective on corporate legal work. Her knowledge of everything that it takes to build, maintain, and expand a business from the ground up, combined with her legal expertise, gives Emily the ability to relate to business owners on a level in ways that many others cannot. She knows firsthand that businesses of all sizes have a wide variety of legal needs, and Emily has the varied expertise to match. She assists companies with a broad range of matters, including commercial real estate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and general business and corporate work. Emily has been drawn to the health care industry since childhood, almost attending medical school rather than law school. This interest in the health care field has allowed Emily to obtain a diverse range of legal expertise regarding the health care industry. She assists those in health care by drafting and negotiating agreements, advising health organizations on transactional legal needs, and providing counsel on the highly regulated health care industry. Emily can also help individuals and organizations with compliance issues related to federal and state regulatory systems, including Anti-Kickback/Stark laws and state licensing issues. Her interest in the industry and knowledge of the ever-changing legal landscape, makes her the ideal partner for those in health care.
