Having grown up in a family of entrepreneurs, Emily has a practical business background and unique perspective on corporate legal work. Her grandparents started a business in the 1960s, and her parents took it over and continue to run it to this day. The knowledge of everything that it takes to build, maintain, and expand a business from the ground up, combined with her legal education gives Emily the ability to relate to business owners on a level that many lawyers cannot.
Emily believes that at its core, the practice of law is a service profession, and tries to implement that in her work. Corporate practice gives her a unique opportunity to provide clients with peace of mind that everything from business affairs to estate planning is taken care of thoughtfully and efficiently.
Emily was born and raised in Springfield, Mo. and loves to work out, cook, travel, and spend time with family and friends. She likes to stay active in her community and volunteers with animal rescue organizations and domestic violence prevention.
