Kansas City, Mo. – Seigfreid Bingham is pleased to announce that three new associate attorneys have joined the firm.

50-2Jamie Maggard is a Litigation Associate who practices in the areas of Employment and General Business. He has also represented clients in the litigation of personal injury, construction, premises liability, and general civil cases. Prior to joining the firm, Maggard practiced in Kansas City and served as a law clerk for the Honorable Ann Mesle with the Jackson County Circuit Court. Maggard is a 2008 graduate of the University of Missouri – Columbia and a 2011 graduate of the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Law. While in law school, he served as a Case Note Editor for The Urban Lawyer and graduated with an emphasis in Urban, Land Use, and Environmental Law.

 

51-2Julie Parisi joined the firm as a Litigation Associate. Her practice encompasses all aspects of civil litigation with a focus on business and transportation litigation. She previously practiced in Topeka, Kan. where she specialized in financial services litigation. She spent her third year of law school as a criminal law intern with the Douglas County District Attorney’s office. Prior to attending law school, she served as a political appointee under the Obama Administration working as a scheduling and advance staffer to Secretary Kathleen Sebelius. Parisi is a 2008 alumna from the University of Kansas and a 2013 graduate of the University of Kansas School of Law, where she was a member of the Moot Court Council and served as the Symposium Editor of the Kansas Journal of Law and Public Policy.

 

52-2Rachel Sterbenz is an Associate Attorney specializing in Corporate Law. She is a 2016 graduate of the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Law where she served as Managing Editor for The Urban Lawyer, a Teaching Assistant for the Legal Research and Writing Department, and as a mentor for the Student Bar Association. During law school, Sterbenz interned for the Executive Director of Legal Aid of Western Missouri and served on the Executive Board of the Association for Women Law Students. She completed her undergraduate studies at Northeastern University in Boston and is currently pursuing an M.B.A from UMKC. Prior to law school, Sterbenz was a Sales and Event Coordinator for Nth Degree, Inc. in Boston.
