Seigfreid Bingham, P.C. is pleased to announce that John Vering has joined the firm as a shareholder.  Vering will practice in the firm’s litigation department with a primary emphasis in labor and employment law matters.

Vering has nearly 40 years of experience defending employment lawsuits, prosecuting and defending non-compete, unfair competition and trade secret cases, and counseling clients on employment related issues.  He has appeared before state and federal courts as well as administrative agencies throughout the Midwest defending employers in connection with an array of employee claims.  In addition to his trial practice, he drafts, reviews and provides state-of-the-art policies, handbooks and employment contracts, and speaks, writes, and trains employers on how to avoidance discrimination and other claims by employees. He also serves as an arbitrator and mediator for the American Arbitration Association.

Vering was selected by Best Lawyers in America® as its 2014-2015 Lawyer of the Year in Labor and Employment for the Kansas City metropolitan area.  He was also named as one of the top 100 attorneys in Missouri and Kansas by Super Lawyers in 2014.
