The law firm Seigfreid Bingham, P.C., will move its offices Friday, October 31 to 29,439 square feet of newly renovated office space in the Crown Center area. The office on the 10th floor of 2323 Grand Boulevard will open for business November 3. The firm has resided in the Commerce Tower building at 2323 Grand Boulevard since it was established in 1974.

“While the firm had other options and offers of numerous economic incentives, we decided it was important to honor our 40-year commitment and remain in downtown Kansas City, Missouri,” CEO Steve Kyle said. The Downtown Council recently recognized Seigfreid Bingham for reinvesting in downtown.

The new office will provide space for the firm’s 43 attorneys and 25 support staff, as well as space that will accommodate future growth. Turner Construction is the general contractor for the renovation, which has been underway for several months. Bell/Knott and Associates is the project’s architect.

With standard office sizes, numerous conference rooms, a library with an open seating area, and attorney work rooms with moveable partitions, the space is designed to adapt and change to fit client needs and provide collaborative group work areas. Private offices surround the perimeter, allowing full views of downtown, Crown Center, Hospital Hill and the Crossroads District. Offices and conference rooms will feature interior glass walls with customized frosted film that will allow sunlight to filter into interior corridors and work areas.

In connection with the move, the firm has invested in updating its technology to allow attorneys and staff to deliver client services more efficiently than ever before. Conference rooms and work rooms will have Wi-Fi Internet access, video conferencing and other remote collaboration capabilities.
