A long-standing litigator with a wealth of experience.
Fred has had a variety of experiences practicing law, which makes him a well-rounded Kansas City attorney. His career began in his father’s law office, where he helped with family law, corporate work, and collections work. He has also spent time working in the prosecutor’s office where he had the opportunity to work on high-profile cases. He came to Seigfreid Bingham in 1982 and has tried numerous cases for firm clients. He has experience ranging from contract matters to workers compensation to employment disputes, personal injury and decedent estates, to name a few. He also has been appointed in the federal courts of Kansas and Missouri to defend indigent parties under the Criminal Justice Act. As a result, he knows how to communicate effectively during trial and connect with the judge and jury.
Fred cares not only for his clients, but his country as well. That is why Fred commits to providing pro bono legal services for the military through KCMBA’s Military Matters program.
